Hope in the Valley

  When I am in nature I am close to you   When I am on top of a mountain I am close to you   When I am on the ocean I am close to you   When I am in the darkest valley I am close to you   You are all around You are in the wind You are in the waves You are close to me   You are in every part of my being Every breath is from you Apart from you, I am nothing   When I sleep You are walking through my dreams Calling to me   When I awake, you are there The smell of your sweetness is like a sweet perfume It arouses my should   You are everywhere I look Drawing me, wooing me Calling me, come, and I will give you rest   Your song calls to me Come; come, let me heal all of you   My soul longs for you. It searches for you. It hears you and seeks you.

  I am so glad to see you here.  In case you are wondering what my blog is about let me tell you.  I chose the name "Hope in the Valley" after my favorite scripture, Psalm 23:4 "though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil for You are with me." I have been through the valley of the shadow of death and I came out the other side because God was with me.  The stories I share here are my personal stories and devotionals that I pray touch you and give you hope that God is there for you too.
