There once
was a cry heard by all, “Redeemer, oh redeemer please save us all.”
The King of
Heaven stood up to say “who will go and answer the call?”
There was a
hush all over heaven as there was one who said “I will.”
The King
looked to see who was so brave,
His eyes
filled with tears as he saw who was to go to the grave.
A hand
maiden was blessed to receive
The precious
gift for those that believe
The lord of
earth hated the gift
“The gift
must be destroyed” said the lord of earth,
For he didn’t
want the people to be free
The gift was
given to those that would receive.
The gift of
eternal life for all whom believe
